Dear colleagues,
I am honored on behalf of the working group for the organization of the 7th Macedonian Cardiology Congress to make its announcement. This congress will be held from 5.10 to 8.10, 2023 in Hotel Metropol, Ohrid, R N. Macedonia.
All areas and topics of cardiology and cardiovascular medicine will be covered, including coronary and peripheral arterial disease, heart failure, heart valves disease, arterial hypertension, venous circulatory diseases, cardiac arrhythmias with all modalities of their diagnosis, including imaging, as well as their medication treatment, i.e. percutaneously, both in acute and chronic forms.
A special accent will be given to the new guidelines from the European Society of Cardiology. Apart from the plenary sessions, thematic symposia are planned, such as case presentations and posters for which we expect your active participation.
The congress is intended not only for cardiologists but internists, vascular doctors, family medicine doctors, as well residents in cardiology and internal medicine.
The members of the board from the European Society of Cardiology announced their interest and also the regional national cardiology societies.

DEAR, BY CLICKING THE LINK BELOW, CHECK IF YOUR ABSTRACT SUBMITTED AS A POSTER PRESENTATION IS AMONG THE SELECTED POSTER PRESENTATIONS THAT WILL BE ORALLY MODERATED. IF YOU ARE ON THE LIST THEN YOU NEED TO MAKE A PRESENTATION OF NO LONGER THAN FOUR SLIDES AND TO PRESENT IT WITH A DURATION OF NO LONGER THAN 4 MINUTES IN THE ORALLY MODERATED POSTER SESSION ACCORDING TO THE PROGRAM.
IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE LIST THEN YOUR ABSTRACT WILL ONLY BE PUBLISHED IN THE BOOK OF ABSTRACTS.

CANCELLATION OF THE ACCOMMODATION
- For cancellation of the accommodation by 10.09.2023, the paid funds will be refunded completely reduced for the bank expenses.
- For cancellation of the accommodation by 25.09.2023, the paid funds will be refunded for 50%, reduced for the bank expenses.
- For cancellation of the accommodation after 25.09.2023, PAYMENTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
ATTENDANCE TO ALL LOCATIONS IN THE HOTEL ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONGRESS, WILL BE PERMITTED ONLY TO PERSONS WITH PAID REGISTRATION FEES (ID CARDS), I.E. THE PRESENCE OF EXTERNAL PERSONS IN THE HOTEL WILL BE COMPLETELY PROHIBITED.

SUBMISSION OF THE ABSTRACTS AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS
The submission of abstracts and poster presentations is done electronically, using the form found below on the page.
Abstracts have to be written in Times New Roman, with max. font size 12, single spacing, A4 format.
It should not contain more than 300 words, including the title, names of authors and the institution of origin and the content of the abstract and max 5 keywords.
Abstracts should be as concise as possible and include the following sub-titles:
INTRODUCTION, OBJECTIVES, MATERIAL, METHODS, RESULTS and CONCLUSION
Oral lectures may be in the native language, but the presentations MUST BE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
Poster presentations will be performed only electronically on LCD screens and because of that, the posters should be made as PowerPoint presentations in 16:9 format, with a maximum of 8 slides.
Abstracts and poster presentations obligatory should be written in English.
