Dear Colleagues,
On the behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Working group of Cardiovascular Imaging, at the National Society of Cardiology of North Macedonia we have an honor and pleasure to invite you participate at the Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Course Level I, which will be held from the 7-8-th of July, 2022. The Course will be held in collaboration with European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, Section Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
The Course is dedicated for cardiologists, radiologists and other professionalists (internal medicine, specialists in training) working in the field of cardiovascular imaging. The needs for the Course for CMR arose with the growing role of cardiac magnetic resonance in cardiology practice. CMR provides specific advantage over other cardiac imaging modalities when evaluating pathology in congenital heart disease, cardiac masses, cardiomyopathies, and in some aspects of ischemic and valvular heart diseases. The strength of CMR in these pathologies includes its precise anatomical delineation of structures, characterization of myocardial tissue, and accurate, reproducible measurements of blood volume and flow.
The program includes lectures, hands-on sessions with interactive working with clinical cases that will be practiced in the work stations.
The Corse is endorsed by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) and by the Medical Health Chamber in North Macedonia.
We welcome you to take part in our first CMR Course Level I.
Sincerely,
Prof. Elizabeta Srbinovska Kostovska, MD, PhD, FESC, FEACVI, FACC
