Dear Colleagues,

We have a great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate at the Symposium “Highlights in Acute Coronary Syndrome” which will be held from the 04-05-th of September 2018 in Skopje, Macedonia.

The Symposium is dedicated to Acute Coronary Syndrome, in particular the specificities in diagnosis and treatment. The Session for the Guidelines for Acute Myocardial Infarction in patients presenting with ST-segment elevation will be focused on the news regarding the previous recommendations,  as well as the differences between European and American recommendations It will be an important session for understanding and highlighting the most important segments in the treatment of Acute Coronary Syndrome.

ESC Working Group on Coronary Pathophysiology & Microcirculation, the ESC Association of Acute Cardiac Care, and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging will also have a Joint Session with the Macedonian Society of Cardiology dedicated to Acute Coronary Syndrome from various aspects. The International Registry of Acute Coronary Syndromes in Transitional Countries will be discussing at one of the Sessions.  Special attention will be given to the imaging diagnostics of the acute coronary syndrome, complications, and other acute conditions in cardiology During the Symposium two Satellite Symposiums will be held.

The Symposium is intended for cardiologists, cardiology fellows, and another professionals working in the field of cardiology. This Symposium is an opportunity to exchange the experience on the latest scientific and professional achievements in Acute Coronary Syndrome and to listen and meet new colleagues from the country and abroad.
